Tutoring since 2011, Cameron volunteers in Mountain View High School's tutorial center, has helped teach in Graham Middle School's AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program, has taught beginning programming to middle school children at the Mountain View Public Library, and coached First Lego League robotics teams.

Cameron retired from Altera (now Intel) as Director of Design Engineering after 24 years in the microchip design field. He earned a BS from U.C. Berkeley in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and has completed graduate course work in Computer Engineering at San Jose State University.

His approach to tutoring is to recognize each student as an individual, with their own learning style, natural aptitudes, interests, and level of motivation. He adapts his approach based on this, together with the goals of the student and their parents.

Cameron and his wife Sharon have lived in Mountain View for over 20 years. Sharon is a children's librarian and they have a son Stuart, who is attending UC Irvine.
